Students at a high school in Wisconsin are upset about their district’s new electronic pass system that limits the number of times a student can use the bathroom during the school day and week.

The new ePass system at Arrowhead Union High School, located in a suburb of Milwaukee, functions as an electronic hall pass that students must use to take bathroom breaks during school hours.

Just gotta remind the teacher that the 5 o’clock news will use their full name when they report they punished a kid for going to the bathroom, which will look really fucking bad in a google search, and any teacher with a lick of common sense will shut right the fuck up and wave the kid out.

They might not directly but the person punishing kiddo will either be them or a school admin, and the argument doesn’t change in either case.

Somebody has to actually enforce it at the end of the day. That person has a name and the W-2 listing the school as their employer. Without that you can do whatever electronic nonsense you want. Rules are a social system not a technical system
