I’m listening to it rn… it isn’t “cyberpunky” but the sound that made Quake II great as it was is still there.
NIN only did the soundtrack to the first Quake. The Quake II soundtrack was Sonic Mayhem.
How funny, i always thought he did QII as well. Thanks for correcting me.
I heard they wanted NIN to do the Q2 soundtrack but Trent didn’t like the direction Q2 went. I think Sonic Mayhem did a pretty good job with the Q2 soundtrack. The song Quad Machine still pops into my head randomly after all these years.
