Apathetic teachers are boring, while teachers with angry energy or who use their position for powertrips (as MAGA enjoys doing) make kids uncomfortable. It’s the teachers with patience and open minds that tend to be the most influential and remembered. If your mom acts the same way at work as she does at home, it’s hard to imagine the kids would choose her (out of everyone) as their role model.
