If this had been “people should have the right to kill thieves / cyclists / trespassers / basically anything else”, I’d have said “right”, but OP’s statement requires the acknowledgement that women are people and rape is wrong, so… left, but maybe my bar has just become far too low.
libertarians would agree with this, but the anarchist ones. it’s kinda pathetic to claim that self-defense is a right-wing position. one could only reach that conclusion if they believed that the police already protect rape victims and therefore there’s no need for us to protect ourselves.
