AI Summary:
Pedo praises pedo.
Woody Allen’s praise alone is a clear indicator of guilt.
You know Woody you could just sit this out instead of praising the pedo.

He’s still alive?

Didn’t he, like, marry his own daughter? 🤔
waaa 😱 (to both comments)
No, his wife’s name was Soon-Yi Previn. Her father was Andre Previn.
It’s weird how many people think NY state would permit someone to marry an adopted child of theirs or a step-child. Allen was never her parent according to Mia Farrow, her adoptive mother along with Previn, who literally has no reason to lie.

First of all, the fuckin gall to say anything at all about Epstein, really, Woody? You wanna come out here and defend… Jeffrey fucking Epstein? Woody Allen? Ok let’s hear it.
“He told us he’d been in jail and that he had been… falsely put in jail in some way.
“He told us he was trying to make up for it now by being philanthropic and giving money to cutting-edge scientists and universities. He couldn’t have been nicer.”
Uhhh… right. Ok. Let’s just assume you’re being sincere here, since the irony is palpable. Couple things here, Woody. First of all, who the fuck gets “falsely” put in jail? Did he happen to say why, or how? Did you maybe think that was weird? A man might be falsely arrested, sure. But jailed? This didn’t prompt further inquiry? Raise any flags?
Second, how does donating money make up for being put in jail if you’re innocent? Did this story add up, in any way, or were you too busy being dazzled by wealth and high profile guests?
I might be tempted to think Woody is being funny here if Woody wasn’t also a notorious sick weirdo.
Not that I want to, but to be completely fair yes people get falsely jailed every day
While I applaud the dedication to pedantry on display here in response to my comment, I did not say that only guilty people go to jail. I asked broadly, who is “falsely put in jail” because it’s a strange phrasing, an unusual framing that ought to be questioned by a listener.
I would expect a normal, innocent person to say something like “I was arrested under false pretenses” or “I was wrongfully imprisoned.” Epstein’s alleged phrasing is, IMO, highly suspect. Which feeds into the following point that it is also suspect for anyone to feel the need to donate money after such “false” jailing.
It’s a weird story told by a weirdo about another weirdo.
Epstein appears to have been guilty based off of everything that is publicly known but your argument contains some serious flaws.
Innocent people get jailed all the time, especially in the US where judges are accepting cash for kids (kickbacks from private prisons) and other similar instances of corruption, racial profiling and incompetence.
I think your interpretation of my comment is entirely based in misunderstanding.
First of all, who the fuck gets “falsely” put in jail?
I understood it perfectly, this is an appeal to authority in that the premise is only the guilty go to jail.
No, you didn’t understand it. You are interpreting the meaning outside of the context of the comment.
No, your question about how does donating ‘make up for it’ if you’re innocent makes sense. Your preamble to that does not.
One pedophile defending another.
So he didn’t try to date your daughter/wife? That’s chill, I guess.
His wife is Andre Previn’s daughter. She was never his kid. New York state wouldn’t let them marry if she was.
Don’t defend a pedophile.
Im not. In correcting your factual error. There’s zero reason to believe Soon-Yi Previn was Woody Allen’s daughter given the fact that her last name was Previn not Allen. Her father is a legendary composer and was alive until recently.
While true, why do you call him a pedophile?

Only idiots think a correction is the same as a defense.
