    Shootings involve guns. Out of the gate that is a right leaning thing at least from that point of view.

        What a chestnut. I am talking about US politics and the truly nutty gun culture in the US. This is a right wing facination and a political position of the republican party. The right thinks gun deaths are just fine as long as it is not them or someone they care about. Just look at gun ownership stats by party.
