At least on Hexbear you can upload small .mp4 files as images

Every time I try, it just loads for awhile before it times out with an error. I’ve compressed the video all the way down to 500kb and it doesn’t work.

Hmm, what are you using to compress the videos and what settings are you using? I find that dropping resolution is the most effective way of getting videos to upload.

Here’s a short gameplay clip of Gears of War 2 I uploaded onto the games comm, and the quality is overall pretty impressive. I exported the file out of kdenlive with the default .mp4 settings but set the resolution to 960x540. The resulting file was like 5mb and it uploaded fine.

Your video literally comes up as “failed to load media.” Viewing in Voyager from an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I am just compressing it with FreeConvert to shrink it at a maintained 720p.

Interesting, it shows up for me on Windows, Linux and Android (from Hexbear).

You might need to go below 720p

Yes, no sound though, unless that’s intentional

The no audio is not intentional, I’ve tried it as comment and post and the audio just disappears.

Gears of War 2 isn’t even that green or yellow outside of this level. Sometimes it’s orange
