Sorry about pinging you from earlier I will keep this in mind for future reference.
If you did, I didn’t see it lol. Didn’t add this feature until late yesterday evening (was already planned), so I’m not sure why it didn’t show up.
I believe that Piefed polls do not show up for lemmy users.
I wonder if I can ping myself… Now if I can just remember which format is a ping and which is just a profile link…

Is there a use-case for pinging yourself?
If not, it seems better to be able to say “message me at @[email protected]” without actually generating a notification.
Send myself a reminder in my PM inbox cuz I check that and never in my saved posts tab.
