To me it’s the dictionary definition of comfort-TV. It has actual trek, a new ship, a new quadrant, coffee, a bad ass captain, the best doctor in the entirety of star Trek, etc.
Still better than Discovery and about two-thirds of Picard.
I don’t know; I’d rather watch all of Discovery than some of the horniest Enterprise episodes…

I’d add the other third of Picard, Discovery and Voyager, the third season of Strange New Worlds and the memberberries-parts of Lower Decks.
