I currently am using a wired Corsair iron claw, but it’s rubber sides are starting to become bald from wear, and Corsair doesn’t sell replacement parts. I love a mouse with side buttons, a wing, and a DPI toggle. But finding mice that are big enough to be comfortable is pretty rare. I’ve loved the Logitech g602 and Ironclaw so far.
Anything similar to the above, just without rubber? I prefer wired mice.
I could be down to try wireless again. The latency on the 602 was pretty bad, but more than that, the mouse had a habit of needing to be charged during the middle of something important, which was really annoying. That’s really why I went back to corded mice. Haven’t charged this bad boy in about eight years. xD
Doesn’t connecting the mouse using USB-C make it a corded mouse? That’s the case with my Logitech vertical.
It does, but it depends a bit on the cable’s quality too. One of my old mice had a braided cable that tended to stick on stuff. Wired mice are often significantly less expensive and weigh less. With Glorious mice, I think there’s a difference of $35 and about 10g, which is something I think about.
This listing is kind of nice since it’s easy to flip between the two

Pardon my asking, but aren’t wireless mice actually FASTER than corded mice? Weird to have a “latency” issue with the 602, but then have gone back to a corded instead.
Edit: Answered my own question - wireless mouse aren’t faster, but they aren’t any slower either, usually coming in at around 10ms of latency across a LARGE range of devices, both corded and wireless. No way in ass you’re going to be able to tell the difference between a 10ms mouse and a 14ms mouse.
I also have a standing desk, so my wireless receiver is pretty far from the actual PC (on the floor, weighs too much for the desk motors). Latency issues aside, I ditched wireless because I was constantly having to swap/charge batteries in the middle of something important. I’d consider going back, as I’m sure most mice have longer battery life these years. It had “30 day” battery life, but only if you turned it off whenever it wasn’t in use. It got annoying, haha.
Back in uni, I was using a 90s wooden desk with a pull-out mousepad for the g602. There was noticeable lag, which was a bit unfortunate. I only realized that after using someone’s corded no-name mouse from Amazon and was amazed at how responsive it was. Ooof. Even having the receiver close didn’t fix it!
