I feel like (fuzzy memory of DS9 here, so feel free to slap me with facts) Bashir seemed more biromantic than bisexual. I never got the feeling he wanted inside Miles’ pants. He just wanted to spend all his time with him.

This meme is really stretching to begin with.

Jadzia wasn’t a lesbian. She could have passed as Bi, but she is so often referenced in trans discussions that it seems like she should have been T instead of that one off character from TNG.

I guess the author struggled to find a character for L so they slapped her in there lazily?

Even Odo could have been used for T because his people don’t even have genders, they emulate them purely for the convenience of the audience. 🤷‍♂️

But then Garak did not feel strictly gay either. In fact it seemed like his attraction was more based around the quality of someone’s interaction rather than their gender.

This implies that people cannot have platonic relationships with people of the gender(s) they are attracted to, which is bullplop.

        That wasn’t intended to.

I feel like 90s TV wasn’t able to do but so much before networks would throw a fit, but my head canon for him and Miles is a shared custody with Keiko lol. Whereas I see him and Garak a little more platonic, with the questionable possibility or slight implication of something else. xD
