“Everybody is saying that my Cossacks slaughtered peaceful residents, women, and children. This is nonsense! According to my orders, they only fought Bolsheviks. I gave a command to root out Bolsheviks. If Jewish women, children, and the elderly are Bolsheviks, it is their fault, not mine.”⁶⁴

The blame for the violence, Semosenko continued, lay with the city council for having failed to stop the Bolshevik uprising and with the Jews for their Bolshevism.

Not that different from how Herzlians talk about Palestinians.

something very mexican (and i imagine it happens in latin america too) is to put cross memorials where people died, so youre walking randomly on a sidewalk and you may find a cross memorial there where someone got ran over or crashed the car lol.

It’s a start. By making small demands, the hope may be to radicalize folks when the government inevitably fails to deliver on them. I’m sadly not optimistic about Indo in the short or medium term, but would love to be surprised.

Today is the first day of my apprenticeship. I feel too old to be doing this but I needed to start fresh in terms of work.

I haven’t worked 40 hour weeks in years, it just hasn’t been feasible for me in terms of mental health. Unfortunately there’s no other way to do the apprenticeship. I really worry that I won’t have enough time in the day between work, family, household, hobbies, and self-care.

Belgium will recognize the state of Palestine soon and will take measures against Israel

While not perfect, it goes to show that getting out in the street helps

While traveling I have reached a location where my mobile internet decided it could not possibly reach, so apart from camp site wifi I have no connection to the outside world. It is refreshing. Really makes you feel like you need to go out yourself and see what happens. No checking the reviews before entering something, just go and find out.

It was even better when I strolled into town and found the place plastered with GOOD NIGHT WHITE PRIDE stickers and other left wing shit. Some pretty cool people around here. Good for comrade networking.
