If there are 10 voters. 8 of them really do not like Trump. 3 vote for <alternative>, 2 do not vote because they want someone to vote for, 1 votes third party and 4 vote for Trump then Trump wins. You’re never going to get a perfect candidate and you will 100% get the candidate you don’t want.

The fact is trump was elected because the DNC screwed up selecting their candidate. You can’t browbeat people into voting for a candidate every single time. Trump is the DNC’s fault almost entirely.
