But they dont give out maps to deobfuscate afterwards. Its common practice since Java is interpreted and therefore easily reversible. But if you give out the deobfuscation maps, you could just not obfuscate it. Like what’s the point in encrypting information, if you publicly make the key to decrypt available. Its basically not encrypted at that point.
