Vivaldi is my favorite non-FOSS browser and has been for some time. I still prefer a good FOSS browser for everyday use, but if a site won’t load, I try Vivaldi next. It’s highly customizable and supports side tabs easily and it’s even a surfaced option during the initial setup!
Good guy Vivaldi.
A recent study by PewResearch found users clicked traditional results roughly half as often when AI summaries appeared. Publishers warn of dramatic traffic losses when AI overviews sit above links.
This is a major point that can’t be understated.
And it’s pretty ironic how a company like Google tells users they can’t circumvent anything that prevents them from generating revenue, and yet that’s exactly what they’re doing to websites when they divert traffic away from those sites using their own little AI summary bullshit.
Perfect timing for THIS.
Fuck yeah, Vivaldi!

Oh, hey!
I’m glad to say that Vivaldi is my go-to on my PC.
I’m sad to say that I still use Edge on my laptop, because Vivaldi just refuses to implement Precision Touchpad gestures support. You know, two-finger swipe right for “Back”, etc. Drives me nuts. :/
