I’ve been working on an epistolary horror novel told in the form of letters. I was worried about it at first but It’s been pretty fun and interesting to use this format!
@Mickey@Deyis I think this can work great if you have the skill. I clearly do not. There‘s a short story I rewrote from scratch 3 times. The story is told in emails, chat logs, letters, court records, etc. It always ends up sounding like crap. For dialogues, we have evolved little tricks and cheats to make it sound natural, yet be efficient. But to do that in other media, you are kind of on your own.
