      So there’s obviously alternatives like Mullvad and AdGuard, but those have the potential to evolve into the same corporatist setup as google and cloud flare.

      Are there any decentralized solutions that one could use to replace these? The structure of DNS says to me there probably isn’t, but looking to see if you know something I don’t.

        I don’t think there are and you are correct. As shrewd citizens we must stay nible.

        Quad9 is another good one. I use a mix of them to further break down data.

        Privacy is just another battlefield of the class war but it is shaping to be the biggest one. One could argue that it is starting to rival economic battle, data is money now. Money was effective at controlling the peasants but it seems data can be uses even more efficiently to gain granular control over each individual on personal level.
