Libjerk is legitimate, if distasteful in its scope (the sidebar noting even such figures as Bernie Sanders as ‘libs’, which is, at the very least, attacking people for taking society closer to the direction one wants it to go). There’s a long history of conflict between liberals, people whom some leftists call liberals, and radical leftists.
