Brazil’s Supreme Court ruled on Monday that foreign legislation did not have jurisdiction in its country, after the United States used a law to sanction a judge on the court.
So a law that wasn’t passed by the elected representatives of a country’s population has no validity in that country. This had to be decided by a Supreme Court.
We truly live in the stupidest timeline.
That’s the reach the US government used to have. If anything, the loss of supreme hegemony will prevent this level of international manipulation. Next let’s do how the US taxes citizens abroad.
