I found out my original capacitor is not dead. So, why is my ac is not working?

So, I call my uncle

and disassemble the ac to find out the problem

After a few hours of diagnosis, we found out something have triggered the compressor overheat/over current protector.

Is the protector fail? Or is the compressor fail? But my uncle says it would be much better to buy a new AC, as it is difficult and expensive to fix it.

But I don’t think the problem is with the compressor, but I am out of idea what would cause the issues.
