Not sure. Too early to tell. What I do know is that it’s a bit of a rallying cry right now for dems/progressives. Like Mamdani is. Ride the lightning, no matter the source at this point. We need to galvanize everyone against trump. It may take any form it wishes, and we need to get behind it if we want a shot at fixing this cesspit they’ve made.

My concern is I live in California and he has not been a good or popular governor. While I appreciate any attempt to fight back against Trump, I think Newsom will make a bad president and this campaign is more about that than doing lasting damage to Trump.

Trump and his cronies were never the real problem, always a symptom of it. Capitalism is the problem, and Newsom is not going to fix that.

Clearly not. He’s using someone else’s brand.
I doubt he’ll do better than any other Dem. He’s a weak choice in terms of winning elections.
