The Mustang Mach E seems like the way to go for an affordable EV. Especially considering they’re used as fleet vehicles so you know there will be plenty of parts and knowledge on how to work on them out there. I just wish they could tow. I have a very small/light boat. It would be fine towing back and forth to the ramp.
The fleet vehicle part is a big point!
Ford claims the Mach-e has a towing capacity of 3,306 lbs and have recommended I take mine to Uhaul for a hitch install.
Last I looked it up, the Mach E was type rated in Europe, but not the United States. Apparently the one thing our standards are higher for is towing because we expect more interstate travel.
