The time skip feels natural, and even though I was initially skeptical about the premise that Hank and Peggy moved to Saudi Arabia for years (seems so out of character for them), I now appreciate how it allows us to see the Hills react to the ways life in the US has changed. It was a great choice.

I wish they had kept the original Kahn voice actor. It must feel awful to lose your character like that, and I’m very much in the camp of not restricting voice actors’ range.

And yeah, that scene was good. I was genuinely feeling sad along with Hank and Peggy in that parking lot, in a “you can never go home again” sort of nostalgic way. I like that it felt like a commentary about real life and rebooting a beloved show at the same time.
