Art is revealed through the eyes of the person who experiences it. If that’s what you took away, then that’s for you.
Not for me. In my mind the best superheros do what’s best for all, whatever sacrifices it needs. That’s what I like superheroes, they try to make it better for everyone without taking their doom into account. I know it’s not realistic but it’s nice to think someone would act like that for everyone, we need more people acting selflessly.
Also yes I know this doesn’t apply as a blanket statement for fictional heros. But sometimes media brings very awesome ideals out. Also I already said I didn’t read a lot but taken what I know, I like ideals. He was for humans to prosper.
Dude. It’s literally spelled out in the words he says/thinks and actions he takes in numerous issues across the entirety of his comic book history. This is not some arcane factoid, so just breathe. The ancient saying “No one should have to meet their hero.” exists for a reason. Recognize you’re cherry-picking or leave it to those around you to have to realize you’re willfully naive. Up to you.
