I Like GOG But i find Steam its Easier to buy games(you can find giftcards).I perfer to buy all my games from one place and i like their client more(like the built in web browser,Chatting and groups features,Communities,etc)
the only think i dont like about Steam client really is its UI and UX and its a memory hog thanks to CEF
What i like about GOG you dont need its client or any client open while in game(like you can choose a client that is written in GTK),you actually own the game and DRM-FREE.
i had decided i was going to only buy PC games from GOG for reasons, but now I feel like i actually have valid reasons instead of emotional ones.

GOG also has more classics and does some work on them (together with the communities) so they run better on modern systems.
Never knew that but sounds pretty cool also great for preservation.
