My blackbird pair are my current obsession. I hide treats around the garden just for them to find and when I see them digging near a prize I get so excited xD

I agree! Although I did have to scale back my spending at one point because I was spending far too much every month on wild birds that weren’t even really my “pets”.
I think I have a good balance now :D

I am at the point in my life I’m thinking of buying a bird bath.
For the birds, not me.
I try to keep ours full and fresh during these hot summer months. Love seeing them splash around and get all fluffed up. As a bonus, the bees will drink from it too!
We do have natural pollinators here! Currently I have a… plastic tub out there for them to get water, but the front yard probably deserves an actual nice bird bath.
I love to see the birds, squirrels, bees, and wasps visiting the birdbath.
Whenever I see a hummingbird, I become a little happier than I had been the moment before.
I’ve never seen one of those in real life. I’ll be ecstatic if it ever happens.

Sphinx moths are awesome ! And a lot easier to see in the country where I live, yes. :-)
