Of course, no religion is special. You can believe in any fairytale book inside your house and the place of prayer. However this is always within the legal framework of the law.

Your special book says you should steal from “non-religion-affiliated-people” because god said you are his bbf? 30 years in jail.

You’re the one who kicked this off with the term “special religion.”

        (͡•_ ͡• ) uh?

Yes, judaism is treated like a special taboo religion that can’t be criticised. It’s not special and it should be criticised heavily.

I imagine that such people also include almost any-non-Christian religion among those that mustn’t be criticized (e.g. Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc.), so I wouldn’t really say Judaism is specifically being treated like a special taboo religion.

Bro stop it with the whataboutism.

We are talking about judaism here. These religious people are shielded and protected by media and politicians, it is taboo to criticise the jews in the west. This is wrong.

Before I do any whataboutism, I always say “if you’ll excuse some whataboutism” since I don’t like to hide it. But this was not whataboutism. You’re talking about special treatment, and that is something which is only defined in reference to context. You can’t say one religion is special and then casually reject any evidence to the contrary which makes reference to other religions. That’s what special means.

FWIW, I agree with you that it should be okay to criticize any religion. But to me, this entire chain of comments has been about whether or not Judaism is actually treated differently from other religions.
