I find with people like this, they only see the problem with the issues that affect them directly (or maybe even people they care about). Some people would use this to question their belief system.
But for someone at her point in life, she will just be a Republican “except for the women’s issues but I am totes not a feminist” or find another ideology that is more or less Republican but she finds aligns more with their new beliefs, like a right-wing Libertarian.
Indeed we will see, but I would be shocked if she decided to no longer be right-wing.
