I don’t believe people fault itch.io or steam for what they did. You can be upset with an action and still understand why it was done. It’s the same mental allowance you would give to someone if they agreed to cover your shift but the morning of their kid got sick and you had to come in anyway. Sure, you’re upset but you also understand that someone would need to take care of their kid.
So we can be upset that NSFW games were delisted. But the other options would be them only getting paid through physically bought Steam and Itich.io gift cards.

Sure but simply saying “they still did X (oh wait they walked back part of X)” doesn’t really sound understanding but accusatory.
