Looks like California plates, and the signage looks like it says interstate 5 and another 3 digit interstate, so I’m guessing Western seaboard usa.

It’s Canada. I found the exact location. To avoid doxing the poster, I’m going to not give the specifics, but I’ve found the location pictured. It’s in Canada.

Those are not Californian plates, which say California in large red text at the top. The text at the top is in blue, like Ontario, Quebec, or British Columbia. US interstate highways aren’t the only roads that have red and blue shields, some Canadian highways have similarly colored shields. US interstates do not place mile markers on the left side of the road, they are always placed on the right side.

Ah I see the little white spot/logo on the bottom of red/blue highway sign.

And fwiw, in usa there are more markers on the left on wide roads or when there are left exits or hov/express lanes.

How’d they get rid of the fucking cabbies? They were most of the car traffic round Bank from what I remember.

They used to do rolling honking protests round the whole town about every least little thing, especially anything questioning their god given rights to pump half-combusted diesel down everyone else’s throats.

London is a city and the capital of the United Kingdom. :-p

The streets at the crossing are probably closed for cars and trucks.

It’s the City of London (a small area within London), near the Bank Station. That area is designated as Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). Cars other than the service kind (cabs, buses, lorries) would need to pay a high charge to go in. So effective no cars go in there usually.
