    Nice. This seems heavily inspired by Giovanni Batista Piranesi’s “Carceri” (1750). I love these graphics. They’re like a weird dreamworld. I saw some as a kid once and remembered them even decades later, but only thought they were from a remembered dream - until i saw them in a museum again. I hope this comic expands on them a bit.

    I really enjoy the restricted palette here, linework and composition are also very pleasing.

    Are there even enough flowers to sustain butterflies in this environment?

    I’d like funding and a city to test this out please.

      Asking the important questions.


      Seriously, my mom used to have butterfly bushes in front of her house (Agastacia maybe?). They didn’t seem to take much maintenance, and were amazing at attracting nearby bumblebees, butterflies and hummingbirds. I’d love to see what effect a big lot of them might have.
