When I was a kid I downloaded the Jonas Brothers video for their song Paranoid, and I opened it on QuickTime on windows and i thought they had made this cool weird video with a bunch of datamoshing and I really loved it and loved the song because of it. Turned out it was just QuickTime encoding errors and when I opened it in windows media player it was normal and I was disappointed. Ever since I’ve wanted to re-create the video because it worked so well and seemed so intentional, and I wanted other people to see what I see, but I’m not that talented with video editing, so it stays just a dream
That’s awesome. I think there is a bunch of software (including open-source apps) that automate at least a big part of making these. You’d need a PC tho.
I’ll have to look into that I suppose
I have linked a tool for it in the community.
Thanks!
