I only still have windows on my gaming pc. And only really because I have a nvidia gpu. I tried a couple things and even just the desktop environment and regular apps are stuttery as all hell.
I’ll see when we get there what the market situation will be. My 3070 will probably be good for at least 5 more years honestly. Unless windows really goes to shit even further and I just cannot bare it even for gaming.
it’s a shame the nvidia drivers don’t work for ya. the last nividia card i had was a 970, i never had problems with the proprietary Linux drivers on Debian. the most i have had to was install was the nvidia-driver package and that was it. i guess nvidia has become even more hostile with their 30 series cards.
I mean I tried like 3 things and nothing worked. Might try again later. Maybe a different distro. But I kinda like fedora and how I have everything setup on my laptop

do you think your next gpu will be AMD or Intel?
