I was born in 1989, so while I was alive, I can’t say I had any perspective outside of some studying Clinton’s and early Bush’s presidency later on. I would have been 12 in 2001 when Bush responded to 9/11. So old enough to register the emotions and what was being expressed by various news sources but not wise enough to grasp the full picture of what propaganda was what and being pushed by who. Though by March 2003 (age 13) when we invaded Iraq I had a decent grasp on it being without grounds. Though I can say many of my school mates expressed it as necessary at the time but roughly 75% understood they didn’t know enough to say one way or the other was the right choice.
