    even the most meat loving leftists I know support better animal rights and at least ending meat subsidies (and push them towards more healthy food).

    just by that, we can make meat more of a one in a while food, rather than the centerpiece of every meal.

        Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. Pretty sure the point is, leftists wouldn’t advocate for just a little murder, or racism, or sexual assault. Even a little is too much.

        I try and be pragmatic, so I’m still happy about baby steps, but when that’s all you advocate for, that’s all you end up getting. That’s why only calling for reduced cruelty isn’t good enough.

        Edit: Just noticed this is vcj. Oops, oh well.
