Ian Williams wakes up one morning to find $1,338 has been stolen from his account via two Google Pay transactions. Two years later, he’s taking on NAB at the Supreme Court, with no lawyers to help him.
it is not a very uplifting news. I would leave the vote to general public before taking any action though.
I’m upvoting this one, normally i’d only find a positive and definite ruling actual news, but this singular guy fighting a goliath is inspiring enough to be good news to me. But i dont think i would upvote If it were some rich guy.
I find a lot of inspiration, optimism and hope in a “simple guy” taking on a large financial institution to right a wrong. But i understand if that is not how the majority sees it.
Totally agree
NAB stands for National Australia Bank for people also not aware.
I know this is not yet decided, but i find it certainly inspiring and i dearly hope for Mr. Williams to succeed.
They really should have robbed him for $1 less.
