      yeah gta1&2 were great. also full of tiny pixel people going through giant map doing their own thing.

          yeah, gta1 blew my mind with the open world sandbox and 2 made it better with competing factions. it was amazing to me that the games just threw you in the middle of a map and said “go nuts”…

          then i played 3 where this fucking dickhead basically grabs you by the ear and forces you to go here, take that, listen to this, go there … and i was like “fuck this” and never touched a GTA again. i have like an hour of gameplay in 3d gtas.

            To be honest, I spent probably 99% of my time in GTA 3 NOT doing missions and just playing it as a sandbox. I never unlocked the third island, and would sometimes use the flying cars cheat to jump the bridge to explore it.
