I can already tell you what’s going to happen: when red states have disasters and need more money to help, the Republicans will push to have a special exception made for their state and when blue states need help they will play political games and condition the aid.

Everyone knows that if there are 50 people in a room, and one has a medical crisis and needs some money, it’s right to let them figure it out (or not) while everyone else just keeps doing what they were doing.
