Larger garages planned in bid to curb on-street parking congestion in SA

The South Australian government wants to increase the size of parking spaces in garages for new residential builds, but the opposition and industry groups say it will just make properties more expensive for buyers.

Why on earth would you require two parking spaces for a two-bedroom house? That’s so often going to be housing used by parents with kids.
