Matt Turnbull, an Executive Producer at Xbox Game Studios Publishing, recently made a LinkedIn post, emphasizing that he’d be “remiss in not trying to offer the best advice” he could to laid-off workers in these trying times. This “best” advice is to turn to AI assistants like Copilot and ChatGPT for emotional support and to reduce cognitive load.

A few years ago all the tech companies doing their initial rounds pf layoffs offered career counselling, now I guess you just get told to talk to ChatGPT.

I fucking hate these fucking people so much. Executives that use AI all day can go to fucking hell.
These executives contribute nothing to the company or society. People like this guy are responsible for the bad decisions that led to layoffs, yet, he will never have to pay for his bad decisions.
Fuck ‘em all. France had the right idea in the late 18th century.
He should have a chat with AI about that bonus!
