I’m a bit above your average millennial. No tech background, just figuring things out on my own whenever shit goes wrong. I know how to very generally diagnose the issue and then search for the relevant troubleshooting instructions. I’m the easy phone call that your IT guy likes getting, i.e. not a complete idiot lol. I know what a VPN is and how to pirate games and movies. I managed to figure out the Fediverse!
Nice description :) I would put myself in the same category. I’ll usually try and succeed at figuring things out on my own before calling for help unless there’s a high probability I’ll mess them up even more.
