Despite his decisive primary victory and impressive campaign, many Democratic lawmakers are refusing to endorse Zohran Mamdani and are spreading baseless lies and smears in the process.
Because he’s considering running in the general election as an Independent (non-Democrat). It would be funny if he didn’t even get enough signatures to get on the ballot, though.
Mamdani is not the DNC candidate. The DNC is attacking him right now.
He won the DNC primary. He is a Democrat. In the General Election Ballot there will be a Democrat ticket with his name on it. Mamdani is the DNC.
Then why is Cuomo in the race still?
