I’ve done this a lot and I have to be mindful not to. It’s easy to do. I’m also Autistic so little eye contact means eyes need to go somewhere, but can’t go down!
When I’m, at events every other time I start following a train of thought someone comes up to me and asks “are you alright” because apparently I look shocked or something when I zone out…
Yeah usually I stare at my own feet. A woman I dated a long time ago used to pinch my nose and turn my head to look at her when she was talking. (I thought it was cute.)
One time when I was zoned out and lost in thought, it turned out that I was staring directly at some woman’s chest the whole time.
