    I was really excited the other day because a series I was reading didn’t do The Roman Empire In Space they did the Roman Republic In Space with a political drama about a Space Senator buying a planet of voters out from under another one

    It’s just nice to see some variety in space fascism every now and again

        I’m overselling the vote buying fuckery but it’s The Stars Undying. Basically the story of Cleopatra In Space and as a result the Fall of the Space Roman Republic. First book is Cleopatra and Caesar so it’s about Egypt and the Republic, second is Cleopatra and Antony.
