I know an old guy who groomed a 17 year old from a student group he volunteered with, and right as she’s 18 and graduating she’s moving in with him. We didn’t have grooming laws six months ago but we do now. Still doesn’t apply. He “did nothing wrong” . Not all child predators are convicted.
It would be odd for most to be pedophiles because sexual attraction to children is incredibly uncommon.
I fucking wish. It’s an epidemic. Especially in positions of authority and wealth. Not sure what that correlation implies, but it exists.
Yeah you might want to look into academic sources on this because the media likes to imply this is widespread when it simply isn’t.

Ive met more than i would like to. Most of them when i was a child. I met other convicted pedos, knew em pretty well.
I dont know that i could identify them now as an old lady, but looking back, apmost every single one had pedo vibes; at least a few asked openly.

Vibes are never a good source when it cones to sorting data but at least youcan narrow down why you are getting it wrong.
There is no good data source. If you run by prosecutions, laws do not apply to the wealthy.

There are good sources your vibes/feelings/emotions just are not good sources (this is true for everyone).
I don’t think you can just tell if someone is a pedophile.
You should seek help if you aren’t already if you were really groomed.
