Yep, thats americans for you. The white house has been burned down before, and id pay to watch someone fly a plane into the statue of liberty. I bet it’d fuck the plane up way worse than the statue, but the statue isnt going to be undamaged. The spectacle would be cool, and the only people here that would be really pissed are the super patriotic ones, and those financially invested in the statue. For the first group, to be patriotic currently means you are completely brain dead, as there is nothing in americas past or present to be proud of. As for the second group, unless they are working a tourist stall, then that would really only effect the bigwigs, and everyone else would rejoice at their bottom line being effected.

Now if you were to blow up a school or the wtc, that would actually effect people more than it would effect the rich, and therefore most americans would be rightfully pretty pissed.
