why would you unblock instagram at your router
I feel like you’re confusing instagram with TikTok. Stories on instagram are exclusively from the people you follow, and most posts in the feed as well. Reels are the tiktok like feature and it’s that one that is not really dependent on who you follow.
I don’t get every post, only some, they’re never timely, and I get a “suggested” follow post every other one.

I mean, you can still click on their profile and see all posts from them… Right? Or maybe not? I haven’t used Instagram in a long time.
I can do that without following them. So why would I FOLLOW someone?

I used it to keep friendly touch with my friends and family. The changed it so that I don’t see their feeds anymore, so no point now.
More inportantly if people care about you, they will use ONE democratic alternative to antisocial media to stay in touch with you. You can ask for that.
