Taking pictures!
Got a new camera that I’ve been saving for for a while, and the longer lens got here. So, assuming the weather is not so rainy risking a camera in it is untenable, ima be getting used to it, doing some stuff that I’ve been planning out since I placed the order.
I already took a few, just to verify everything works, but there’s some things I’ll need to really set up for; tripod, filters, etc.
I’m totally amateur, and don’t really want to be serious about photography on any significant level. I just want to make decent pictures for myself. So far, my test images have been okay; which means the camera itself is better than my needs, which is right where I like to be lol.
Not sure how much compression there is via lemmy, but the original is good enough on my screens that I’m happy as hell with the camera and its ability to cover my rustiness using anything other than a point and shoot.
Oblivion tonight, boardgames with my old college buddies Saturday, Resonite Creatorjam in VR on Sunday. Should be a blast all around!
Bake a loaf of bread. Play some video games. Go for a walk, the weather is supposed to be beautiful. Watch some baseball. Hang at the in-laws’ for Mothers Day.
Hoping to complete the song I’m writing in my conlang, and experiment with other things like the bouncy 5/4 piece I started. Also looking to take some nice nature photos to post on Pixelfed.
Taking a THC + CBD gummy along with a ton of beer Friday night, then likely sitting around the rest of the weekend being poor.
I should do something for the RC season. Either go fix the track or order spares for my cars.
The cars are under a layer of dust since last summer, and the dirt track has weeds growing all over it.
So far, none. Except I’ll be probably in the cooking duty Sunday - it’s mothers’ day, my nephew and BIL won’t do shit to help out, and I don’t want my mum or my sister to lift a finger then.
Going to the Costa del Sol with my boss because he’s in the mood for some beach time…
