The Climate Council urged Opposition Leader Peter Dutton to urgently accept briefings from leading climate scientists and emergency service experts, after he admitted during the ABC’s leaders debate that he didn’t know if climate change was making extreme weather events worse.
He’s an outright climate change denier. No amount of evidence is going to change this guy’s mind (that or he wants to pander to the denier contingent, probably both).
You are ruling out the possibility that he is a believer but wants to accumulate as much wealth as possible to insulate himself personally from climate change.
That requires publicly denying climate change.
