Luigi (allegedly) supported everyones health December 4th 2024.
Giving an upvote without the worry that my account will be banned for upvoting “unsanctioned content” = priceless
Fuck reddit
Agreed, I got banned for upvoting and replying with animated Mario Kart gifs of Luigi.
The ceo needed some mineral supplements…
Delivered by ballistic therapy
He wouldn’t take his pills orally, so he needed to have his shots delivered…
He’s a real one. Too bad he got framed. I saw the guy who did it and it looked nothing like Luigi.
It was actually Dave. He told me himself.
Dave’s not here.
Oh hey that’s the guy who fixed all those bugs in Civ VI, cool
Can’t deny Luigi Mangioni had a positive influence on Civilization.
We got to free Luigi so he can fix the god awful UI issues of Civ VII ASAP!
Top of Reddit right now is some white asshole who got a ball in a hole bestest of all.
I come to Lemmy & this is on top of my All feed. Much better.
I understand that “sportsball” is incredibly unpopular here on lemmy because yall are a bunch of nerds, but rory mcilroy accomplished something today that is extremely unusual and deserves recognition.
Luigi also accomplished something extremely unusual that deserves recognition, but he didn’t do it today.
There are plenty of valid reasons to find sports boring. Yes playing some in person is fun but it’s totally valid to dislike watching or hearing about them.
It’s more like an illustration of Reddit turning into a useless bunch of fluff. I don’t know anything about golf or that guy, it just happened to be the top fluff when I posted.
Indeed, I find Sportsball not terribly interesting, and think it gets too much pride of place in news media (not being able to separate Sports from “Breaking News” push notifications on the Guardian app back when I had it, comes to mind. Grumble, grumble).
I don’t begrudge anyone who enjoys it though. Everyone has their own interests!
For selfish reasons, I’m pretty glad Lemmy isn’t terribly interested. It saves me from having to filter out the biggest sports communities like I had to on Reddit.
I suppose they both have managed to get hole in ones?
I like real sportsball. But, you’re talking about golf. I don’t know or care who rory macrory is and I couldn’t care less. Golf isn’t a real sport, it’s dudes walking around on a pretty lawn then occasionally whacking something with a club.
Best description of golf I’ve heard is that it’s “A good walk spoiled”.
all golf courses could be turned into lovely detailed botanical gardens/arboretums where everyone could take lovely walks and have picnics for free.
Yeah bud I bet golf is more popular than murdering people.
murdering *murderers.
allegedly
Oh yeah. It might not even be him actually.
And yet, this is top on Lemmy. Maybe because you don’t get banned for mentioning Mario’s brother here.
I mean that’s fair Reddit is balls. I just don’t get the weird sportsball energy from this guys comment.
I think I touched a nerve. I bet homeboy here wears polos on the green. Maybe even plays with the boss.
People watch more TV about murders than golf.
Luigi didn’t murder anyone. The evidence they planted on him doesn’t make any sense
I think just by longevity within the human experience that murder is far more popular.

YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM REDDIT
Same here. For criticizing Israel.
I was banned for up voting a comment that was just this gif with no context:
Wow! They are really scared over there! GOOD!!!
There’s a ton of high activity accounts they banned. We’re all here now
Once again on the right side of history.
America will make any man mad.
Good lad
Wearing a Maryland shirt. .Go Terps
If really like to know more about him, and what pushed him to do what he did.
In the US, when referring to veterans, some people seem to carry this big distinction between regular vets and “combat” vets. Sure, there are the stolen valor people, who would tell others they did things they didn’t, but for the most part, people who served, just got through it, and did what they had to do… The old, “heroes aren’t born, they’re made” thing - where we react to situations we’re thrust into. Not being thrust into harrowing situations doesn’t make one “less of” a man or woman.
Personally, I see more of the Luigi stuff coming, considering how things are going in the US. But, if like to know more about how this allegedly all came together in his case… he’s just some 20-something college kid - outside of his current predicament, that is.
Don’t let the propaganda machine and all the blatant, prejudicial rigging get to you, my man. They haven’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt, using legal evidence, that it is him.
Right now, it’s only alleged, and they’ve mishandled the evidence badly.
Don’t do their job for them.
I’m not doing anything for them. As far as I’m concerned, Luigi is a hero. You can tell he’s threatened those in power. There are convicted serial killers who’ve gotten less of an escort than Luigi.
Well he wasn’t going to support gun control was he.

Lucky for you, the new regime will.

Is killing a mass murderer a crime? Also, accusations do not infer guilt.
I’d say it’s unfortunate for us all when decent people are locked up to protect oligarchs who use sickness to drive their own personal profits.
murdering a man
A man? Did he not murder just the UHC CEO?
No, he didn’t. He looks completely different to the guy on the CCTV, and the ghost gun they planted on him doesn’t make any sense to have been carried across state lines in his bag.
Only thing Luigi is guilty of is liking hamborger
Really. One thing about a ghost gun is that you can dispose of it and not worry about being connected to it. So why keep it if the reason you had it in the first place is that it can’t be traced to you. However if you want to frame someone, a ghost gun can be used because it could be anyone’s.
